Books are treasures because they bring us knowledge .Knowledges is valuable because it enriches our life and brings us happiness and prospenty. All great men in the history of mankind loved books ,It is the knowledge in the books that led us to success. There is no genius (天才) without books . because books are source (源头) of knowledge and knowledge is the source of success. A man is blind and does not even know what he is doing if he is unable to read. Books bring us pleasure as well as kowledge. They enable us to see through the past and to see into the future . Macaulay, the famous historian(历史学家 ), once wrote to a little girl:If any one would make me the greatest king that ever lived with palaces and gardens and fine dinners. And wines and coaches (四轮马车) and beautiful clothes, and hundreds of servants, on condition that I should not read books,I would not be a king. I would rather be a poor man with plenty of books than a king who did not live reading.优质解答
