I had many teachers that I loved. Mrs. Green was one of them. She was my  fifth  grade  teacher.

Because I was a new student in her class, she made my time there more  pleasant. I began to like her at once. She was really funny and I knew that she liked  me. She made us learning fun. She taught us how to make toys. My parents still  have some of the toys I made.

She made me become the leader for many group activities and that made me  feel happy . I think that would make many children feel special, especially a child in  a new place with no friends. In fact, she tried to make every student feel that they  are really good . That year, I received a special prize. I was really proud and so were  my parents.

When I looked back, I think I did so well mainly because I felt important.  Students do better when they feel that they are important or loved. Mrs. Green  always gets to know her students and make friends with them. I will try to be like  her some day. I just hope that there will be a student who finds me to be their  favorite teacher, just as I found her to be mine.
