When I was a child, I always felt very free outdoors. I liked to imagine that nature was speaking to me through the call of the birds and the rustling of the leaves. One sunny afternoon, I found a small purple flower on the ground and I thought how lifeless it looked, all alone in the dirt. Then I moved up my head and saw that the field ( 田 野 ) beside the road was covered with purple flowers, just like the one in my hand. Alone they were tiny (微小的), but together they became a big filed of color that made me breathless (令人屏息的). That little purple flower gave me courage ( 勇 气 ).
