    Many years ago, my dad got heart disease（疾病）and had to be sent to the hospital. He couldn’t work for a long time so he decided to be a volunteer at a children’s hospital.

She said she could walk. She mailed my dad a picture she had drawn. At the bottom it read, “Thank you for helping me.”

My dad would cry whenever he told us this story. He would say that love can be more powerful than doctors, and my dad died just a few months after the little girl gave him the picture.
