题目内容:
Last Sunday, I took my ten-year-old son Ben to a restaurant to have dinner. I bought a bowl of noodles with beef for my son, because I knew he liked it.
When the noodles were ready, my son did not eat it at all. He said, “There is so little beef in the noodles and I don’t want to eat it.” Just then, a mother in old and dirty clothes with a little girl came into the restaurant. The mother asked her daughter, “What kind of noodles would you like?” “I want plain noodles (素面), because it can save us some money.”
Hearing what they said, I gave Ben’s noodles to the girl and said, “My girl, please eat it, there is some beef in it and my son is full (饱的).” The mother wanted to pay for it and I didn’t accept the money. They both said thanks to me and then I left the restaurant with my son.
On the way home, my son said sorry to me. And he said, “Mom, I learned something from that girl.”
