If you see a problem, then you should try to work it out. Alex Knoll always thinks so. He is a 12-year-old boy from Post Falls, Idaho, in the United States.
Three years ago, a man couldn’t open a heavy door from a wheelchair. Alex saw it and wanted to help him find automatic doors.
However, there was no way for the disabled to look for such service. So he made an app called Ability App.
The app can help disabled people learn about access before they go somewhere. It gives information such as locations of wheelchair ramps and restaurants with Braille menus. Sometimes, people can also make friends using it.
