Some of you are probably using textbooks from foreign countries like the US or the UK, especially in English subjects. But now, China’s math textbook will    1.  to British classroom.

Yi Ke Yi Lian, or One Lesson, One Exercise, is a series(一系列) of popular textbooks for students in Shanghai. This summer, the  2.   textbook of the series will be published(出版) in Britain.

The British translation has eleven kinds of books to fit the eleven   3.  from primary school to high school in Britain. The publisher will change some words and background knowledge, but the difficulty level of the books will be the same.

Starting from last year, the British government has been learning from Shanghai’s teaching methods. In the 2012 Program for International Student Assessment(PISA国际学生评估项目), Shanghai students got first place in the math exam   4.   British students got 26th place.

In September, the British government  5.   sixty of Shanghai’s top math teachers to British schools to share their teaching experiences. A number of teachers from Britain also visited Shanghai for experience.
